1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of AmaFans, operated by Acolyte Group (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2023/179481/07, South Africa ('AmaFans', 'we', 'us'). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, whether as a Fan or a Creator
  • Creators must complete identity verification, including submission of a government-issued photo ID, before publishing any content or receiving payouts
  • You may hold only one active creator account at a time. Account sharing is not permitted
  • Your account must represent a real, identity-verified individual

3. Content Tiers

AmaFans supports two content tiers, set per creator profile:

  • SFW (Safe For Work) — content consistent with mainstream social media standards. No nudity or sexually explicit material
  • NSFW (Not Safe For Work / explicit) — content that may include nudity and sexually explicit material, subject to the requirements in our Acceptable Use Policy

Fans may set browsing preferences to view SFW content, NSFW content, or both. Creators choose which tier(s) they operate in and must accurately tag their content accordingly.

4. Payments

  • All payments for subscriptions, pay-per-view content, bookings, tips, and custom content must be made through AmaFans' integrated payment systems. Off-platform payment requests are not permitted
  • Creators receive their earnings share as set out in their creator agreement, paid out on the schedule stated in their dashboard
  • Payment processing for explicit (NSFW) content is handled through a payment partner specialising in adult-content transactions. Fees, settlement timing, and chargeback handling for this content tier may differ from SFW transactions, and are disclosed in your creator dashboard

5. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you create and upload, subject to the licence you grant AmaFans to host, display, and deliver it to paying fans
  • You must own the rights to everything you post, or have explicit permission from the rights holder
  • Do not upload another person's copyrighted material without authorisation

6. Account Actions

  • We may issue warnings, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law
  • Serious violations — including content involving minors, non-consensual material, or illegal activity — result in immediate permanent termination and may be reported to the South African Police Service or other relevant authorities
  • You may appeal an account action within 14 days by contacting support with your account details and the basis for your appeal. We aim to respond within 7 business days

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
